Privacy policy

Click* collects only what it needs to run a film: the photos you take inside a film, your display name, and, if you host a film with a signed-in account, your email address. Guests can join and shoot without creating an account — Click* uses anonymous guest accounts, so joining a film never requires an email or password. If you buy a guest-capacity upgrade, we keep a record of the purchase receipt. If you enable notifications, we store a push token so we can tell you when a film's photos are ready.

Every photo you take in a film stays hidden — even from you — until the film's reveal moment. Once revealed, photos are visible to the film's participants, or to everyone with the invite link, depending on the visibility setting the host chose when creating the film.

Film, account, and purchase data lives in a Postgres database run by Supabase. Photos themselves are stored and delivered by Cloudinary, our media CDN. Neither photos nor film data are ever made public by default — access is gated by who you are and whether the film has been revealed.

We keep your photos and film data for as long as the film and your account exist. If a host deletes a film, its photos are deleted. If you delete your account, everything tied to it is deleted — see below.

Anyone in a film can report a photo they find objectionable directly in the app. If a photo receives reports from three different people, it's automatically hidden from everyone while we look into it. Hosts can also remove any photo, or remove a guest from their film entirely, at any time. We aim to review and act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours.

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. Doing so permanently removes your photos, your films (if you're a host), your participation in other films, and your account itself — there's no separate request process.

We don't sell your data to anyone, and Click* doesn't run ads. Your photos and information exist to run your films, full stop.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the effective date above and make a reasonable effort to let hosts know.
